Welcome to the ACJH School Counselor Page! Counseling services are available to all students. As counselors we work with students individually, in small groups, and in the classroom. We are available to help students who need someone to listen, help with friends, and to deal with many of the daily school issues. While our main goal as counselors is to help students succeed in school, our program is also designed to address the social, emotional, and developmental needs of students.
Mission:
The mission of the Annie Camp School Counseling Program is to partner with teachers, administrators, parents and the community to provide students with the academic, career and social/personal support needed to develop into life-long learners in high school and beyond.
Philosophy:
The Annie Camp Jr. High administration, teachers, and counselors are committed advocates to the success of our students. Our students are dedicated learners who participate in a rigorous curriculum. With the leadership of a collaborative, committed faculty and the support of our comprehensive school counseling program, all students are empowered to learn at high levels and develop habits of life-long learners who are prepared to function in their community beyond high school.
